Scientists have identified a new way to keep sperm in storage during sex, so when ejaculation occurs there’s no sperm. The researchers produced genetically modified mice that couldn’t ejaculate sperm and then showed how the process could be reversible, keeping the sperm unaffected and producing almost no side-effects. The scientists believe the same result could be achieved in humans using two drugs—one of them has already been developed.
